Eric's little brother. His exposure to Trinity was more extreme compared to the others due to his age when he was injected, and thus he's more feral than humanoid now - only his upper torso and arms remain with a human shape to them. In a similar manner, Dan also displays a schizophrenic behaviour in that he can spontaneously switch his mentality between his normal self and that of a velociraptor, and his social level remains at that of an 8-year-old child, even as an adult. Despite this, he does show an avid ability to learn quickly and has never repeated the same mistake twice - how many mistakes he's made is a different story altogether.

Now that I muse about how each of my characters reflect a part of who I am, I can definitely see Daniel being somewhat a personification of my humour - I don't have much (reflected in his size compared to the others), but sometimes the occasional one-liner that I sometimes spew out brings about a laugh. Not that I mind him - It'll probably do me good to have some form of comic relief later on in ITC to break up the seriousness once in a while.

Note to self: draw Daniel with shorter arms next time...

Aren't there a number of shows, both animated and acted, that feature a unique individual trying to blend in with mainstream society (i.e. Allen Strange or My Life as a Teenage Werewolf)? Then again, I don't see why not another be made.

Perhaps. There haven't been many prehistoric-based films or TV series since the third Ice Age film came out, so I can see it being a welcome change.
